Iriga City has a typical tropical climate. It is classified as Type II which is characterized by no pronounced dry season and rainfall from May to December.

The two airstreams, namely, northeast and southeast monsoons, variably produce a cold weather and significant rainfall from October to February, and five-month long summer from May to September.
