Iriga City is located about 400 kilometers (about 222 miles) south of Manila, 38 kilometers (21 miles) south of Naga City (Camarines Sur), and about 60 kilometers (34 miles) north of Legaspi City (Albay).

Iriga City is bounded by the town of Buhi in the east, by the municipalities of Baao, Nabua and Bato in the west, by the province of Albay in the south, and by the municipalities of Ocampo and Sangay in the north.
