Cable service began with live broadcast and programming in June 1992.

Iriga City has had direct satellite feed from the US West Coast with the latest technology with a bandwidth of up to 4.8 Mbps; soon to be 8Mbps. The number of subscribers is slowly increasing mainly due to limited capabilities and resources, but Internet service is available to those who want to surf the web.
